<p>A large number of received emails can be automatically sorted in a short time. For this purpose, there is provided a method for sorting emails received by a server having a database that stores therein a search table in which a plurality of tags are associated with their respective one or more keywords and their respective significances. The method comprises: a receiving step in which the server receives emails from one or more user terminals; an intra-title searching step in which it is determined whether any ones of the same keywords as in the search table are included in the title sections of the emails received by the server in the receiving step; and a sorting step in which the emails received by the server in the receiving step are sorted according to the tags associated with the keywords searched for in the intra-title searching step. In the intra-title searching step, the server performs the search in an order starting from the keyword(s) of the tag associated with the highest significance, and when any one of the same keywords as in the search table is detected in any one of the title sections, the search of the title section is terminated.</p> |
