<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat belt arrangement improving comfortability and vehicle operability by releasing the unnecessary continuation of lock operation after an emergency locking mechanism is once operated. <P>SOLUTION: A rotation sensor 11 detects a rotating position of a belt rail 12, and a longitudinal acceleration sensor 16 detects acceleration of a vehicle. A controller 21 includes a lock continuation determining means 41 for determining whether a lock state is continued after the emergency locking mechanism 22 is operated, based on detection values from the longitudinal acceleration sensor 16 and the rotation sensor 11 during electrical disconnection to a drive motor 10. When the lock continuation determining means 41 determines that the lock state is continued for a predetermined time or more, the controller 21 drives to rotate the drive motor 10 in a lock release direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
