PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of improving productivity related to printing.

SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: an acquiring means for acquiring color information indicating color or monochrome on respective pages related to respective ones of a plurality of printing data; a determining means for determining either a color mode or a monochrome mode as a printing mode on the basis of the color information on respective pages related to the respective ones of a plurality of the printing data acquired by the acquiring means; and a changing means for changing the printing order of a plurality of the printing data based on the printing mode determined by the determining means.
