<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle driving support device improving overall mileage of a vehicle group including a vehicle. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The vehicle driving support device includes: a position speed detection means 1 detecting a position and an actual speed of a vehicle; a storage means 2 storing a maximum mileage speed at which fuel consumption efficiency of the vehicle becomes highest; a communication means 3 transmitting/receiving data including the position, the actual speed and the maximum mileage speed of a vehicle between vehicles; a vehicle group setting means 4 setting a series of vehicles running adjacent to each other within a predetermined distance in the traveling direction, as one vehicle group; a priority vehicle extraction means 5 extracting a priority vehicle having the maximum mileage speed higher than the actual speed and a maximum speed difference between the maximum mileage speed and the actual speed; and an instruction means 6 instructing a vehicle traveling ahead of the priority vehicle to move aside, and instructing each vehicle to travel at the maximum mileage speed of each vehicle, or at the actual speed of the preceding vehicle traveling at a speed less than the maximum mileage speed of each vehicle.
