<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a reverse twist phenomenon cannot be spontaneously dissipated in an in-plane switching type liquid crystal panel. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal panel includes first and second substrates disposed opposite to each other at a fixed distance, a liquid crystal layer sealed between the first and second substrates, a counter electrode pattern formed on the first substrate side, a pixel electrode pattern formed on the first substrate side and an alignment layer formed so that an alignment direction of the liquid crystal layer may cross an extended direction of slits of the pixel electrode pattern at ≥7° angle.
