RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR TIRE TREAD

PURPOSE: A rubber composition for a tire tread is provided to improve chipping resistance, cutting resistance, and durability while maintaining abrasion resistance by using a highly linear natural rubber, a carbon black having a specific colloid property, silica, and a coupling agent as a reinforcing agent. CONSTITUTION: A rubber composition for tire tread comprises: 43-48 parts by weight of carbon black; 5-10 parts by weight of silica; 2-4 parts by weight of a coupling agent; and 2-4 parts by weight of a reinforcing resin based on 100.0 parts by weight of a natural rubber. The total content of the carbon black and the silica is less than 55 parts by weight based on 100.0 parts by weight of the natural rubber.
