<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock handle device for a door, the major portion of which can be made of a synthetic resin, while maintaining sufficient strength. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This lock handle device 1 for the door includes a casing 2 which has the major portion such as a body 7 integrally molded from the synthetic resin, and a metal latch plate 4. A handle 3 includes a synthetic resin body 40, and a metal driving protrusion 41 which is integrally provided in the body by insert molding. The driving protrusion 41 comprises a stem portion 47, a protrusion 48, and a shaft inserting portion 49. The stem portion 47 is embedded in the handle body 40, and elongated along the handle body 40. The protrusion 48 is elongated at a predetermined angle from the one end side of the stem portion 47, and protruded from the handle body 40. The shaft inserting portion 49, which is positioned between the stem portion 47 and the protrusion 48 and embedded in the handle body 40, has a shaft hole 51 which allows the penetration of a pivot 42.
