The present invention relates to a method for optimized design of an irrigation plant (I) with tubing spans (C) equipped with components including distributors (G), each composed of elements (E). The method comprises the steps of: inputting first data about spans (C) into storage means (2) of a computer apparatus (1) where an IT product for designing the plant (I) and comprising a database of the elements (E) is installed; inputting second data concerning the terminals of the last spans (C) into the storage means (2); selecting elements (E) from a group of sets of elements (E) contained in the database; generating, by the IT product, a list of components comprising the selected elements (E). Each of the sets is processed by the IT product by selecting, of all the available elements (E), those having mechanical properties suitable for the first and second input data and the previously selected elements (E) for mechanical continuity of the irrigation plant (I). |
