<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enclosing type game machine which can maintain highly reliable game management by always and correctly obtaining the number of balls that a player has, even when the unexpected situation is generated on the game machine side. Ž<P>SOLUTION: If the card balance is consumed and ball lending is received, this is converted into a credit number and is credited to a game machine, and when consuming the credit number and performing a game, a value (the number of prize balls) corresponding to the kind of a winning pocket, which has won a prize, is converted into the credit number and is integrated. Moreover, the credit number is subtracted whenever a shooting ball discharged to a playfield is detected. Further, the game is terminated when a predetermined exact calculation condition is achieved, and the credit number is then transmitted to a device for the game. In this case, whenever the credit number increases by two or more predetermined numbers according to the number of prize balls and whenever the credit number is reduced by two or more predetermined numbers according to the number of shooting balls, information to the effect is transmitted to the device for the game from the game machine.
