A protection panel with a touch input function for an electronic device display window is provided with: a protection panel body (7) configured by a plastic plate (7a) in which a glass plate fitting opening (7d) larger than a transparent window (8a) is punched, and a glass plate (7b) fitted in the glass plate fitting opening; a lower electrode sheet (1) comprising, on the upper surface of a transparent resin film, a rectangular lower transparent electrode (2) and a lower circuit (5b) provided around the lower transparent electrode, the lower electrode sheet being affixed to the upper surface of the protection panel body; an upper electrode sheet (20) comprising, on the lower surface of the transparent resin film, a rectangular upper transparent electrode (4) and an upper circuit (5a) provided around the upper transparent electrode, the upper electrode sheet being bonded to the lower electrode sheet at the peripheral edge thereof with a space formed between the electrodes; and a decorative sheet (8) comprising, on at least one of the surfaces of the transparent resin film, a decorative layer (9) which conceals the lower circuit and the upper circuit and forms the transparent window, the decorative sheet being affixed to the upper surface of the upper electrode sheet. |
