PURPOSE: An LCD illumination device of an instrument panel for a vehicle is provided to reduce noise created from an illumination device by preventing a diffuser which diffuses light in order to uniformly illuminate all area of LCD from moving. CONSTITUTION: An LCD illumination device of an instrument panel for a vehicle(100) comprises: a LCD(110); a PCB(120) wherein an emitting device is mounted so that the LCD is turned on; a housing(130) which is installed between the emitting device and the LCD so that the light from the emitting device is focused to the LCD; and a diffuser(140) which is arranged in the lower part of the LCD so that the light from the emitting device is uniformly diffused to the entire area of the LCD and comprises a fixing unit so that the LCD is elastically supported.
