PURPOSE: A polarization plate and a method for fabricating the same are provided to include a thin compensation layer on the polarization plate by forming the compensation layer with a negative C property. CONSTITUTION: A compensation layer(210) is formed on a base substrate(10) by coating a material for forming the compensation layer with a negative C property. A polarization layer(220) is formed on the compensation layer. A protective film(230) is formed on the polarization layer. The compensation layer is separated from the base substrate. A resin composition is sprayed onto the base substrate to form a resin composition layer. The resin composition layer is hardened.
