PURPOSE: A lighting device for the controller symbol of an air conditioning device for a vehicle is provided to efficiently light the symbol of each button with a small number of LEDs. CONSTITUTION: A lighting device for the controller symbol of an air conditioning device for a vehicle comprise a light source(20), a light guide plate(30), and a light distributor(40). The light guide plate guides the light of the light source to the adjacent parts of the buttons(5) of the controller. The light distributor distributes the light guided to the adjacent part of the button, to the symbols of the buttons. The light distributor comprises a plurality of light projecting holes(42) and a plurality of light guides(44). The light projecting holes are formed in the light guide plate in order to correspond to the buttons. The light guide connects the light projecting holes to the symbols to guide the light of the light guide plate coming out from the light projecting holes to the symbols of the buttons.
