PURPOSE: A front substrate including a dielectric layer with a bowl structure is provided to increase brightness by forming a small bowl on one side of the dielectric layer in contact with a protection layer on the front substrate. CONSTITUTION: A pair of sustain electrodes is formed into a stripe shape. A bus electrode(24) is formed on the lower side of the sustain electrode to reduce a line resistance of the sustain electrode. A front dielectric layer(26) maintains discharge by accumulating a wall charge generated when plasma is discharged. A plurality of bowls(100) with a fine depth and a fine diameter is formed on one side of the front dielectric layer. A protection layer is deposited on one side of the front dielectric layer, prevents damage to the front dielectric layer and the sustain electrode due to the sputtering of plasma particles.
