UPPER IMMEDIATE RESECTION PLATE DENTURE DESIGNED BY LEVANDOVSKYI-BIELIKOV

摘要

An upper immediate resection plate denture designed by Levandovskyi-Bielikov consists of the fixative part on the unaffected side and the replacing part on the side of resection. The boundaries of the denture in the transition fold on the side of resection are extended to 2-3.5 height of the alveolar process over the transition fold on the vestibular side tapering towards osteotomy line in the frontal division and the retromolar site on the side of resection. The heightened vestibular flange is thickened by 1-1.5 thickness of the base plate wax. The edge of the ledge is drop-shaped. The modeled artificial maxillary sinus is used as the reservoir for the storage of the medicinal substances and the early postoperative support of the bandage preserving the standard boundaries on the unaffected side with the fixation onto the abutment, the dental implants and the alveolar process.
