PURPOSE: An armchair for basic health care is provided to enable a user to check current health condition, to handle diseases by showing data about the health condition to a doctor, and to prevent backache by correcting the postures of students and employees. CONSTITUTION: An armchair for basic health care is manufactured by adding a basic health care program to a chair. A user can check current health condition by measuring a blood pressure, the weight, and heartbeat using sensors which are attached to the armchair. The postures of students and employees, which study and work while sitting on chairs for a long time, can be corrected using a vibrator installed in the armchair.
