TAG, READER, AND METHOD FOR TAG IDENTIFICATION USING THE TAG AND THE READER

PURPOSE: A tag, a reader, and a method for tag identification using the tag and the reader are provided to perform tag identification efficiently by using an ID having the smaller number of bits than entire IDs. CONSTITUTION: A tag generates an abbreviated ID based on an ID thereof(S120), and an identification operation is performed with a reader based on the abbreviated ID(S130). When ID collision happens, the collided tag performs the identification with the reader based on the ID. The number of bits of the abbreviated ID is determined based on the number of estimated tags.
