PURPOSE: A vehicle head lamp is provided to prevent wrong connection between a socket and a discharge lamp by forming a connection restriction protrusion on the conductive member. CONSTITUTION: A discharge lamp comprises a light source(8a) irradiating a light and a cap(8b) keeping the light source. A reflector comprises an optical reflection part reflecting the light coming out from the light source and a lamp maintenance unit(13). A socket(19) is connected to the cap. The socket supplies a driving current to the discharge lamp. Conductive member(40,41) guiding the noise is installed in the lamp maintenance unit. A conductive section(34a) is formed in order to surround the connection unit with the opposite side of the case. The conductive member and conductive section are connected to the cap in direction of the connection.
