<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system capable of obtaining a line test result without stopping the operation of the system. <P>SOLUTION: A master station always superposes line test data on a start signal of a simultaneous command or a controlling carrier to be transmitted to a slave station. The slave station measures the line test data and a reception level when receiving the controlling carrier of the master station. The slave station reports, to the master station, the result obtained by measuring the line test data and the reception level at a pre-designated time. By displaying the line test data and the reception level reported from the slave station on a display device, the master station can recognize details of a line condition of the slave station without stopping the operation of this communication system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
