<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information storage medium on and from which digital animation information can be recorded and played back, and to provide an information playback method, an information recording method, and an information playback device which utilize the medium. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the information storage medium, identical place in a video object can be repeatedly played back between different cells in a different PGC. A unit of an address managed in control information to which cell time information and PGC information belong is different from a unit of an AV address defined in an AV file, information of the number of specified blocks or information of block numbers in the video object is contained in a time code table and information relating to the necessary time required for playback of the cell is contained in the control information.
