VIDEO REPRODUCER INCLUDING INTEGRATED CIRCUIT FOR PROCESSING VIDEO, INFORMATION RECORDER, APPARATUS AND IMAGING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video reproducer including an integrated circuit for processing a video capable of diverting design properties obtained by developing a video-audio apparatus to other kinds of video-audio apparatuses, an information recorder, an apparatus and an image sensing device.

SOLUTION: The video reproducer includes: a microcomputer block 2 including a CPU; a stream I/O block 4 for inputting and outputting video and sound streams to/from an external device; and a media processing block 3 carrying out media processing including at least one of compression and expansion of the video and sound streams inputted to the stream I/O block 4. The video reproducer further includes: an AVIO block 5 converting the video and sound stream media-processed by the media processing block 3 into the video and sound signals and outputting the video and sound signals to the external device: and a memory IF block 6 controlling data transfers among the microcomputer block 2, the stream I/O block 4, the media-processing block 3 and the AVIO block 5 and an external memory 9.
