PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device for storing the occurrence frequency of such engine starting failures that troubles of specified components and systems cannot be specified, with respect to each engine cooling water temperature, for re-verifying less-repeatable troubles specifically, and for allowing a designer to seize in how conditions the occurrence frequency is higher. SOLUTION: The vehicle control device performs data processing for storing temporal data. Particularly, it performs data processing when accumulating data for history information about the operating conditions of a vehicle and an engine and information over a certain elapsed time for the failure diagnosis of the vehicle.
