DEVICE FOR HEATING THE COFFERDAM OF LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS CARRIER

PURPOSE: A cofferdam heating device for an LNG(Liquefied Natural Gas) carrier is provided to maintain the proper temperature of cofferdam with change in pipe arrangement only. CONSTITUTION: A cofferdam heating device for an LNG carrier comprises a connection pipe(100), a circulation pipe(200), and a heat exchanger(300). The connection pipe is connected to a heating coil(400) and includes a heat receiving unit(110) transferred with heat from outside. The circulation pipe is installed on the discharge side of a compressor and includes a heat transfer unit(210) which is installed on a side of an intermediate cooler for circulating pure water. The heat exchanger carries out heat exchange between the heat receiving unit and the heat transfer unit.
