Provided is a high-frequency heating balloon catheter system, which can predict accurately a balloon surface temperature for heating a target tissue directly, while a temperature sensor being kept out of direct contact with a balloon film. In a high-frequency heating balloon for generating a vortex in a balloon (6) to homogenize the temperature by applying vibration waves (W) to the inside of the balloon (6) by a vibration generator (42) via a liquid feed passage (11), an in-balloon temperature sensor (8) is so fixed near the tip (5) of an inner cylinder shaft (3) as is insulated from a high-frequency power electrode (7), and the temperature of a vortex (S) to flow along the inner film of the balloon (6) is detected. In the balloon catheter system, the surface temperature of the balloon (6) can be predicted by measuring the temperature of the vortex (S) approximate to the surface temperature of the balloon (6) during the high-frequency power supply by means of the in-balloon temperature sensor (8).
