<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric pump that can be reduced in size in the axial direction of a rotating shaft and the radial direction. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A case 10 incorporating a coil unit C having a plurality of field coils 14 disposed annularly is connected to a base member including a pump unit P. The inner periphery of a recessed space S formed in the case 10 is an inner wall 11, and a roller 32 is provided to the outer periphery of a rotor 31 stored in the recessed space S. An outer peripheral portion of the rotor 31 is magnetized, and by applying a rotating magnetic field from the coil unit C, the rotor 31 is rotated to perform suction and exhaust of fluid between the outer periphery of the rotor 31 and the inner wall 11.
