<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise canceling device capable of reducing noise generated by a device installed in a specified place, for any person who approaches the place. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The noise canceling device comprises: a microphone device 1 installed near an object device 101, which collects noise generated by the object device 101; an anti-phase sound source 2 in which a noise signal collected by the microphone device 1 is transmitted, and which includes a phase inverting circuit for inverting a phase of the noise signal, and an amplifier; and a loudspeaker device 3 installed near the object device 101, to which the signal amplified by the amplifier is transmitted, and which generates a sound wave of an anti-phase of the noise.
