PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block board superior in machinability of a peripheral surface part. SOLUTION: The block board 1 has a core part 2 having a lot of small timbers 21 integrated in a plate shape a pair of side surface materials 31, 32 which are made of wood material having a higher specific gravity than the small timber 21 and disposed adjacently to both the sides of the core part 2, splice core sheets 4, 4 adhesively stacked on both surfaces of the core part 2 respectively so as to stride the core part 2 and the pair of side surface materials 31, 32, and surface materials 5, 5 adhesively stacked on respective splice core sheets 4, 4.
