<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for independently recording video for a fixed period corresponding to each recording start instruction even if the recording start instruction is given before a lapse of fixed time from the recording start instruction in a fixed-time recording mode. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: an encoding means for converting video from an imaging means to generate stream data, and for storing the stream data in a buffer means; a control means for controlling the encoding means so that the fixed-time stream data corresponding to a first recording start instruction and the fixed-time stream data corresponding to a second recording start instruction are stored in the buffer means independently when the second recording start instruction is given before the lapse of the fixed time from the first recording start instruction in the fixed-time recording mode for performing fixed-time recording according to the recording start instruction; and a recording means for recording the respective stream data independently stored in the buffer means on recording media. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
