PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carpenter's ink pad enabling a marking for driving screws and nails in a building component at accurate intervals to be easily identified, eliminating the need of processing a snapping line, and enabling the snapping line to be smoothly let out and taken in. SOLUTION: This carpenter's ink pad 1 is provided with: an ink pad body 2; a line winding drum 3;, the snapping line 4; an ink-impregnated material 5; and a line fixing implement 6. A rotating shaft 7 is installed between two side walls 31 of the ink pad body 2, a cam roller 8 is attached to the rotating shaft 7, and the snapping line 4 is wrapped around the cam roller 8. The ink-impregnated material 5 comprises a contact part 61. When the snapping line 4 is withdrawn to the outside, an ink 34 is adhered to the snapping line 4 at predetermined lengths and predetermined intervals by bringing the snapping line 4 fed from the cam roller 8 forward into contact with the contact part 61 periodically in increments of predetermined length when the cam roller is rotated. When the snapping line 4 is taken in on the line winding drum 3, the snapping line 4 returning to the cam roller 8 is positioned above the contact part 61 at an interval. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
