<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately maintain deployment performance of an airbag even if a roof lining, covering the airbag, extends from an upper area of a vehicle compartment to a lower area thereof and has a vertical wall defining an opening of the vehicle compartment. <P>SOLUTION: An arrangement structure of an airbag device 12, mounted on an automobile 1, includes: an airbag 14 disposed along a roof rail 13 under a folded state; the roof lining 2 extending from the upper area of the vehicle compartment to the lower area thereof and having a vertical wall 32, defining the opening of the vehicle compartment, and a lateral wall 33 contiguous with the vertical wall and extending toward a side area of the vehicle compartment; and a clip 36 restricting the vertical wall from moving inward in a vehicle width direction for preventing the airbag from deploying inside the roof lining. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
