<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of reducing memory bus band in the image processing apparatus, in which an access to any position within a screen occurs. <P>SOLUTION: When an image write request is issued, an image is reduced by thinning or the like and the reduced image is stored in a memory. Furthermore, the reduced image is enlarged by linear interpolation or the like to obtain differential data from the original image. The differential data are compressed for each line and for each rectangle and stored in the memory. An image read request is issued for each line or for each rectangle, differential data for each line or for each rectangle including a read-requested line or rectangle and a compressed image including the read-requested line or rectangle are read out, enlarged, expanded and added, and requested image data are obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
