<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overhead console device improved in operability as compared with a conventional one. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This overhead console device 10 includes a housing 20 including a recessed part 21, a lid member 30 provided with a mirror M and rotatably supported by the housing 20 to a closing position 30a and an opening position 30b rotated downward from the closing position 30a, a first holding device 40 for holding the lid member 30 at the closing position 30a in relation to the housing 20, and a second holding device 50 for holding the lid member 30 at a middle position 30c between the closing position 30a and the opening position 30b in relation to the housing 20. The second holding device 50 holds the lid member 30 at the middle position 30c by a holding force of a degree by which the lid member 30 can be rotated in the opening direction by imparting a prescribed rotating and operating force to the lid member 30.
