<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-made encapsulating container which has fewer reinforcing ribs, and is easily manufactured and. <P>SOLUTION: The resin-made encapsulating container is a flat container having the width of side faces being smaller to those of surface and back side faces. The surface and back side faces 11 are entirely projected in the direction of the main axis 10 connecting a mouth part 2 of the container to a bottom part 13 and the direction orthogonal thereto. In one of these directions, a strong curve of the smaller radius of curvature is formed, and in the other direction, a weak curve of the larger radius of curvature is formed. The curved shape in the direction of the strong curve consists of dissimilar curvature portion of dissimilar radii of curvature, and a portion 11L of the larger radius of curvature out of the dissimilar curvature portion is distributed along the direction of the weak curvature to form an area 11Lv of weak curvature.
