<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk brake device capable of suitably suppressing drag between a brake pad and a disk rotor to a direction opposite from pushing force of a piston. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the disk brake device 10A, a second disk 18 of a wheel disk unit 14 is rotatable with a wheel 12 and is movable to an axial direction of the wheel 12. An inner brake pad 50A and an outer brake pad 50B are arranged to be opposed with each other while holding the second disk 18 between them. In a caliper 40, the second disk 18 is held between the inner brake pad 50A and the outer brake pad 50B, and braking force is imparted to the wheel 12.
