The electrical plug-in connector (1) has a support (110) for an electrical connecting unit (310) of an electrical cable (3) and an electrical contact unit (120) for an electrical contacting of the cable. The support and the contact unit are arranged to each other in the plug-in connector such that the cable is electrically contacted with a setting of the connecting unit in the plug connector. An independent claim is also included for a method for installing an electrical cable in an electrical plug-in connector, particularly an airbag plug-in connector.
