The tray has a gas outlet (5) provided for forming a fuel area, and a flat tray body (1) that is positioned below the fuel area around the gas outlet. Two passages are formed in a circular bottom (3) of the tray body. The passages surround the gas outlet in an inserted condition below outlet nozzles. Each passage has an internal boundary region that projects in relation to a collecting surface (2). A cover/hood has a recess for the gas outlet and/or for the flame. The cover/hood is adaptable to the geometry of the fuel area. The tray body is made of aluminum foil.
