PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid detergent composition for a hard surface, having excellent detergency to oil stain and high foaming power and exhibiting excellent biocidal efficacy. SOLUTION: The liquid detergent composition for hard surface comprises (a) one or more of surfactants selected from nonionic surfactants and amphoteric surfactants, (b) an alkanolamine, (c) a specific cationic surfactant having germicidal properties, (d) one or more compounds selected from a monocarboxylic acid (salt) having ≤10C aryl group and a monosulfonic acid (salt) and water in specific ranges, respectively, and has a pH of ≥10 (25°C).
