<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molded motor which prevents entry of droplets while holding an end bracket stably and drains water without fail even if the droplets enter inside or the dew condenses. <P>SOLUTION: The molded motor includes a stator 740 having a cylindrical mold resin 720 with an opening 725 that is formed by molding together a coil and a stator core with a resin, and a rotor disposed on the inner diameter side of the stator 740. A circuit board is disposed on the inner peripheral side of the mold resin 720, and the end bracket is press fitted on the inner peripheral side of the mold resin 720 to block up the opening 725. The mold resin 720 is provided with a recessed groove 726 so formed on its inner peripheral side as to extend along the rotation axis of the rotor toward the opening 725, and also a drain hole is formed to communicate from the inner peripheral side to the outer peripheral side in the mold resin 720.
