<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component mounting structure for suppressing the occurrence of torsional mounting (a twisted phenomenon), wherein a plurality of mounting legs 4 integrated with a housing 2 of a motor driven compressor 1 as components are laid on mounting members 14, respectively, and a plurality of fastening bolts 24 are threaded thereto, while dispersion exists in spaces between each mounting leg 4 and each mounting member 14 in the horizontal direction in Fig. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The head of the fastening bolt 24 is located on the component side and a shaft portion on the opposite side to the head is threaded into the mounting member 14 on the engine side. Between the head and the mounting leg 4, a first clearance adjusting part 74 exists which is pressurized and plastically deformed with the fastening bolt 24 threaded thereto. Between the mounting leg 4 and the mounting member 14, a second clearance adjusting part 84 exists which is pressurized and plastically deformed similarly. The amount of plastic deformation of the first clearance adjusting part 74 is different from that of the second clearance adjusting part 84 with respect to each mounting leg 4 to absorb the dispersion.
