The present invention relates to a water-saving valve apparatus, and more particularly, to a water-saving valve apparatus installed between a water pipe and a shower head to be manually opened/shut when needed to control the flow of water discharged from the shower head, thereby saving water. The water-saving valve apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a valve body having a water supply unit, a discharge unit, and a straight pipe; a connection member having a joint plate coupled beneath the valve body, and a tube arranged beneath the joint plate; a spring and an actuating rod inserted into the tube; a press plate and a packing, which are brought into contact with the actuating rod to move in a vertical direction; and a manual operation unit joined beneath the connection member to manually move the actuating rod in the vertical direction. The manual operation unit includes: a lower body which is joined beneath the connection member, and which has an open top with an internal space, and a lower portion with a vertical tube; a slide bar, the top of which is provided with a magnet, is inserted into the vertical tube to slide in the vertical direction, and thus move the actuating rod in the tube of the connection member in the vertical direction by means of magnetic force; a spring fitted to the outer circumference of the lower portion of the slide bar to elastically support the slide bar in the vertical tube; and a locking piece the upper end of which is caught alternately by a first locking groove and a second locking groove formed up and down on the outer circumference of the slide bar, and the lower end of which is caught at the outer circumference of the vertical tube during the sliding of the slide bar, to thereby lock and support the slide bar alternately at the height at which the magnetic force of the slide bar affects the actuating rod and at the height at which the magnetic force of the slide bar does not affect the actuating rod. |
