The invention relates to a textile that releases an active substance, loaded with breakable micro-capsules which consist of polyurethane and are designed to break when acted upon by a mechanical force and release their content in the textile. The micro-capsule content comprises a skin care composition, and said micro-capsules have a breaking stress of between 50 and 150 µN and a diameter of between 5 and 15 µm. Part of the invention also relates to the use of the claimed textile for producing clothing and other items to be worn on the body.
