PROGRAM AND PASSENGER DEMAND PREDICTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To comparatively easily predict a passenger demand in an area in which a traffic network composed of a plurality of lines is constructed and a plurality of stations are available.

SOLUTION: In a passenger demand predicting device, a transportation demand is predicted by: setting a station's sphere of influence showing that the ratio of use of a station is a certain value or more for each station of a target line (SA1); constructing a generated-congested traffic volume prediction model for predicting a generated-congested traffic volume of each station based on the number of users and the like of each station estimated from the station's sphere of influence (SA3); and calculating a prediction value of a traffic volume of each station according to the constructed prediction model (SA5).
