<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form lubricating oil path for communicating to a supercharger in a V-type engine provided with a breather chamber and supercharger between banks. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A V-type engine E comprises a cylinder block 1 keeping a pair of cylinder rows with a predetermined angular interval, a breather chamber 9 formed between the cylinder rows and a turbocharger 50 arranged above the breather chamber 9, wherein the cylinder block 1 contains a first lubricating oil supply path 16 extending from a lower part of the breather chamber 9 and opening to a connection surface 5a with a cylinder head and a second lubricating oil supply path 22 branching off from the first lubricating oil supply path 16 to extend to the turbocharger 50.
