<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane rotary type compressor of low noise and high salability. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This vane rotary compressor includes a cylinder 3 including a cylindrical hollow part therein, a roughly cylindrical shape rotor 4 rotatably disposed with at least a part of an outer circumference part put close to an inner wall surface of the cylinder 3, and a vane 5 slidably inserted in a vane groove 4b of the rotor 4, abutting on an inner wall surface of the cylinder 3 at a distal end thereof, and dividing a compression space formed between the cylinder 3 and the rotor 4 into at least a suction space 18 and a delivery space 19. The vane rotary compressor includes a suction hole 10 communicating to the suction space 18 and a delivery hole 11 communicating to the delivery space 19.
