<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a short of a circuit and the deterioration of wiring due to water leakage in a circuit board. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the case of a lens drive device 10, a drive mechanism part 38, a sheet member 44 and the circuit board 43 are arranged in order from a lens barrel side. The drive mechanism part 38 includes a motor, a gear train and a connection gear and the connection gear is exposed from an opening and engaged with the operation ring of the lens barrel. The sheet member 44 prevents water splashed by the rotation of the connection gear or the like from reaching the circuit board 43 when the drive mechanism part 38 is driven.
