The device has a magnetic sub-assembly including a parallel coil (21) and another parallel coil enclosing corresponding movable magnetic cores (25, 26) in a direction of an axis of the coils. The sub-assembly has magnetic yokes (23, 24), and a unique striker (27) that is driven by each core towards a contact opening and closing lock mechanism. Return units i.e. torsion springs, return the corresponding cores to their initial positions in the absence of current in the coils. A portion of each magnetic yoke is arranged parallel to and between the coils.
