A limb bath 1 suitable for bathing the leg ulcer of a patient comprises a first frame portion 3, a second frame portion 5 adapted to engage the first frame portion 3 to form a frame. A foot receiving portion 7 is mounted to the second frame portion 5. Height adjustment means 11, 19 enables adjustment of the vertical position of an opening in the foot receiving portion 7 relative to the first frame portion 3 to allow the patient to conveniently locate their leg inside the limb bath. Also described is a limb bath where the first frame portion engages a first surface of the second frame portion, and a second surface of the first frame portion engages a second surface of the second frame portion and further, that the first and second surfaces of the second frame portion are on opposing sides of the second frame portion. Preferably, the foot receiving portion comprises a removable bag. Further described is a limb bath arrangement whereby the first frame portion abuts against the second frame portion in the event that the second frame portion is urged in a downwardly direction to substantially prevent downward movement of the second frame portion. |
