AN AUTOMATIC ABNORMALITY DETECTINGY SYSTEM OF RAILROAD CARS

PURPOSE: An automatic abnormality detecting system for railroad cars is provided to simplify the system by configuring a single system for detecting abnormalities in different parts of the railroad cars. CONSTITUTION: A wheel abnormality detecting unit(100) reads a digital image which is taken from the wheel of a railroad car. A first control unit(110) compares the digital image in order to verify the abnormality of the wheel. A pantograph abnormality detecting unit(120) reads the pantograph image of a railroad car. An outer appearance abnormality detecting unit(140) reads a digital image which is taken from the outer appearance of the railroad car. A second control unit(130) the wear of a current collector or the abnormality of the pantograph.
