TAPE FEEDER AND CHIP MOUNTER HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A tape feeder and chip mounter having the same is provided to mount much taper feeder on a chip mounter by preventing the interference between the adjacent tape feeders from the thickness of an element supply reel. CONSTITUTION: The electronic component is accepted in a tape feeder(100). A body(102) sends back a carrier tape to the pick-up location. The carrier tape feed unit(300) is installed in the body. The carrier tape feed unit supplies the carrier tape to the body. The carrier tape feed unit comprises a hanger(310) and an element supply reel(302). The hanger is installed in the body and is movable. The element supply reel supplies the carrier tape to the body.
