MONITORING SYSTEM FOR MULTI FUNCTION PANORAMA CAMERA AND MONITORING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A monitoring system using a multifunction panorama camera and a monitoring method thereof are provided to offer compatibility with an existing CCTV(Closed Circuit Television) system by controlling a concentrated monitoring camera in the panorama camera. CONSTITUTION: At least one first digital image converter(320) converts a wide area monitoring image signal of at least one or more photographing units(220,310) into a digital image. A motion detection unit(325) generates sense information with motion detection. A panorama control unit(350) generates a control signal of a concentrated monitoring unit(200). The panorama control unit transfers at least one among a control signal of the concentrated monitoring unit transmitted from a central control unit(100) and the generated control signal of the concentrated monitoring unit to the concentrated monitoring unit.
